That’s the reason I will adorn this palette. But, while doing makeup, I am quite open to experiments. So, if you are fond of matte makeup only, or nude makeup, then this palette won’t impress you that much. That said, the looks that you can flaunt with this palette are mostly shimmery and gorgeous. The tones of the colors are on the warmer side. The shimmery colors outdid the mattes, here, for sure. Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eye Palette offers a great combination of mattes and shimmers. Now, the most important part of this review post. Every detail has been kept in mind while creating the palette. When I opened the paper box, I got to see the beautiful eye palette box. A light shimmery desert sands image, with Huda Beauty shining in metallics. Now coming back to the product, the outer packaging is very beautiful. She is the top Instagram Influencer at present and has her own lineup of Beauty and Makeup products. The packaging of this Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eye Shadow Palette is as gorgeous as Huda Kattan herself. Overall, I loved the palette a lot and I am sharing my feedback with the best details possible. I have used it, and there are many things that I have loved about it, and there are certain things that disappointed me a bit. So, without a second thought, I grabbed it. I have read mixed reviews about it, but the gorgeous color shades were irresistible to me. It moves around in the pan so a light hand should be used as well as an adhesive base.I got my Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette very recently. It has a creaminess to it and isn't as messy as a loose glitter. The pure glitter shade, Cosmo, has a unique texture. Twilight is my absolute favourite shade from the entire palette. As they are toppers, I also recommend using a base colour to maximize the reflection and pigmentation. Without the glue and fingers, they don't give an opaque finish. They apply best with your fingers and a glitter glue. The duo-chrome toppers are designed to shift in colour. Angelic, Cashmere, Nefertiti are lighter in colour and would look great over the matte shades. The others have more of a sparkly finish and apply best with a wet brush.
They are creamy, apply smoothly and pigmented, more than the others. My favourite are Turkish Delight, Blood Moon and Royal as they have more of metallic finish. The pressed pearls are pure pressed pearls in plum, bronze and rose hues that create a velvety, shimmer finish. I didn't experience any fallout in the pan. The mattes are blendable and they blend well into each other. Those three are my favourite matte shades from this palette. Amethyst, Saffron and Blazing had a rougher and drier texture in the pan but applied well with no patchiness. The matte shades have smooth texture and they apply evenly and pigmented with the exception of a few shades. We combined magenta, bronze, and golden tones to create a luxurious glitter texture that looks insane all over the lid or just as a liner. Glitter was a must for this palette! It just adds sooo much impact to your look. You guys will die when you see how each shade transforms in the light! This texture was so important to the palette as it perfectly captures the ever-changing illusions of the desert. I love using these by themselves, the formula is just SO rich, but they also layer beautifully on top of mattes.ĭuo-Chrome Toppers: Retrograde, Twilight, and Celestial. We’ve included subtle sandy nude shades as well as vibrant purples and ochres. Of course, no palette would be complete without highly-pigmented, buttery-smooth mattes. Matte Shades: Blazing, Saffron, Amethyst, Oud, Amber, Eden, Musk, and Desert Sand.
